Amanda DeVoe, Lupus ambassador share experiences on World Lupus Day

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Today is World Lupus Day, also known as Put on Purple Day. It’s an effort to raise awareness about an autoimmune disease that attacks the body.

Five million people are living with lupus worldwide, and 1.5 million Americans are living with the disease, including News4JAX Anchor Amanda DeVoe.

She spoke Friday with a lupus ambassador about her journey of finding a cure.
