MARIANNA, Fla. – Police are warning people about drugs shaped like LEGO blocks after the arrest of a Marianna man who was caught with one of the pieces, which turned out to be Ecstasy, officers said Tuesday.
Investigators with the Marianna Police Department confiscated the drugs and arrested the man, later identified as Korneilius Johnson, 26.

Authorities were called to reports of a disturbance at an apartment complex, and that’s when they met Johnson, who was carrying a bag of marijuana, police said. At first, they thought the Ecstasy was just a small LEGO piece.
But the block was chalky, and when they tested it, officials confirmed the piece was actually a narcotic.
Johnson is now charged with the possession of drugs, and for having more than 20 grams of marijuana, investigators said.
The disturbance took place just after 9:15 p.m. Friday in the area of Rockwell Street. Someone had called police, complaining that a man was beating on an apartment door, making reference to the fact that he was armed with a gun, officers said.
When police showed up, Johnson tried to get away, and then attempted to hide in a bush near the intersection of Oak and Rockwell streets.
When officers patted him down to see if he had a weapon, that’s when Johnson said no, but admitted to having “a little weed” in his front pocket, police said. Authorities found the marijuana and the LEGO piece, then learned Johnson had an active warrant for his arrest issued in Jackson County.
He was taken to the Jackson County Correctional Facility.
