JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 41-year-old man who police said tried to climb into the dive-thru window of the Burger King at the corner of Edgewood and Cassat avenues Monday morning was held by two citizens until officers arrived, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

According to the arrest report, Russell Peeples told police he would admit to trying to steal the register if they would let him talk to his girlfriend, who was standing 100 feet away. He yelled to her that he loved her, and wanted to get her money to get off the street.
