Obama, Trump to campaign in Jacksonville Thursday

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – President Barack Obama and Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump will make campaign stops in Jacksonville Thursday as both sides push hard to win over Florida voters.

Trump is scheduled to appear at noon at the Jacksonville Equestrian Center following rallies in Miami, Orlando and Pensacola on Wednesday, according to a schedule posted Monday on his campaign website.

Trump is scheduled to appear at noon Wednesday at the Bayfront Park Amphitheater in Miami, followed by a 4 p.m. event at the Orlando Amphitheater at the Central Florida Fairgrounds and a 7 p.m. rally at the Hunter Amphitheater in Pensacola.

Obama will appear at a get-out-the-vote rally for Democrat Hillary Clinton at the University of North Florida Arena at 1:30 p.m. Thursday. He is due at a rally at the Florida International University Arena in Miami that morning, according to the Clinton campaign.

Democrat Hillary Clinton will campaign Tuesday at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Pasco-Hernando State College's East Campus in Dade City, followed by a 6:15 p.m. appearance at the Sanford Civic Center in Sanford and an 8:45 p.m. event at the Rev. Samuel Delevoe Memorial Park in Fort Lauderdale.

Former President Bill Clinton will also campaign for his wife in the battleground state Tuesday. Bill Clinton is scheduled to appear at 12:15 p.m. at the Florida City Youth Activity Center in Florida City, followed by a 3:30 p.m. appearance at the Immokalee Pioneer Museum in Immokalee and a 6:30 p.m. event at the Thomas "Jet" Jackson Recreation Center at Wildwood Park in St. Petersburg, according to the Clinton campaign.

Vice President Joe Biden will campaign for Clinton Wednesday in Tampa and West Palm Beach. 

Trump's running mate, Mike Pence, was in Cocoa, Maitland and Clearwater on Monday.
