Mario Humberto Diaz, 36, of Hialeah, Florida, and Rogelio Llerena, 48, of Orlando, Florida, were arrested after the Alachua County Domestic Highway Task Force stopped their Dodge Ram diesel pickup truck. Authorities found the rear tool box had been converted into a 200-gallon diesel fuel tank.

Deputies said the tank had a suction hose that could be dropped into a tank to suck fuel out, and the filler neck for the truck had a diverter that allowed for filling of the tank also from a fuel pump.

Diaz and Llerena were both charged with transportation of a dangerous material in an unlawful conveyance, fraud, possession of counterfeit credit cards, illegal use of credit cards and passing a counterfeit credit card.

They were booked into the Alachua County Jail.
