BAKER COUNTY, Fla. – Four people were thrown from an SUV when it struck a tree late Saturday afternoon in Baker County, killing three passengers, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Investigators said it happened at about 5:30 p.m. on I-10 near Highway 90 in Sanderson.

The Florida Highway Patrol said Robert Myers, 45, of Marietta, Georgia, lost control of the a Ford Bronco. He and the other three people inside were thrown after the vehicle ran into a pine tree. The truck caught fire and was engulfed in flames.
Pamela Meyers, 48, and Michael Myers, 15, both of Marietta, and James Burch, 44, of Alpharetta, Georgia.
The driver was taken by air ambulance to UF Health Jacksonville. His injuries were described as serious.
