NASSAU COUNTY, Fla. – An 18-year-old passenger in a car was shot Thursday afternoon by someone in another car on Owens Road in the Nassauville area of Nassau County, the sheriff's office said.
Deputies said the passenger and the car's 18-year-old driver were traveling northbound on Owens Road about 2:30 p.m. Thursday when the driver saw an older red car behind him and heard a pop. The back window shattered.

A bullet apparently came through the back window and struck the passenger in the back.
The driver took the passenger to Baptist Nassau Hospital, where he was treated and released.
The older red car was last seen around Mobley Heights and Old Nassauville Road.
