The driver responsible for the crash, police said, is from Yulee. She was taken to a hospital following the accident.

The teen had two 14-year-old passengers in the car, a 2013 Honda. One of the girls is listed with minor injuries, and the other wasn’t hurt, police said.

Just after 6:45 p.m., the Honda driver was heading east on Pages Dairy Road, facing a stop sign. The driver of another car, a 2013 Toyota Tundra, was going south on Chester Road. At the intersection, the teen “failed to yield the right of way … and pulled out in the path of (the second vehicle),” police said in a written crash report.

The Tundra driver, age 21, is also from Yulee. She had a 25-year-old man, and a 2-year-old boy, in the car with her at the time. None of them were hurt.

The front of the Tundra hit the Honda on its left side, and both vehicles came to a rest on the east shoulder of Chester Road, the FHP said.
