ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – Two people were arrested Tuesday in connection with an armed robbery that happened Sunday on Cherry Tree Road.
Deputies said the victim was picked up by a woman, Tiffany Michelle Higginbotham, 26, and went to the end of the road to engage in sexual relations. When the two got out of the car Higginbotham opened the trunk and a man, Danny Hammond, 43, allegedly got out of the trunk, armed with a weapon.

Deputies responded Tuesday to a report of a suspicious person, who matched the description of Hammond. When deputies arrived they said Hammond fled into the woods but was caught a short time later.
Higginbotham was reportedly located at her home and taken into custody without incident.
Hammond and Higginbotham are both charged with armed robbery, grand theft and aggravated assault with a weapon.
Hammon faces an addition charge of fleeing and attempting to elude law enforcement.
Both were booked into the St. Johns County Jail. Hammond's bond is set at $28,500, Higginbotham's is set at $12,500.
