JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man in his 20s suffered a gunshot wound to his shoulder Wednesday morning when he exchanged gunfire with another man during an argument, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said.
Police were called to a reported shooting around 5 a.m. at the Riverview Apartments on Caravan Circle in the Holiday Hill neighborhood, near Atlantic and Southside boulevards.

They found the young man with the gunshot wound, and he was taken to a hospital. He is expected to recover.
JSO said the man who was wounded had been in an argument outside the apartment with another man earlier in the morning. The other man left, but then came back, and the argument resumed outside the apartments.
Police said the suspect then fired at the young man, who shot back. The suspect ran off and has not been found yet, police said.
News4JAX spotted multiple bullet holes in the window of one of the units.
JSO said investigators are looking for any surveillance video in the area or possible witnesses.
