FERNANDINA BEACH, FLA. – The Isle of Eight Flags Shrimp Festival returns to downtown Fernandina Beach this weekend, and the fun kicked off Thursday at 6 p.m. with a parade.
VIDEO
The parade embarked from Central Park on Ash Street, headed west, then turned right onto South Second Street, winding its way north towards the heart of Downtown on Centre Street. Finally, the procession turned east along Centre Street to Central Park.
This year’s theme recognizes 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776.
