JSO says man, woman caught on surveillance in ‘suspicious incident’ on Blanding Blvd. were located safe

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man and woman seen in a surveillance video of a “suspicious incident” on Blanding Boulevard have been located safe, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

On Thursday afternoon, surveillance video from a nearby business at Blanding Boulevard and 118th Street captured a man, believed to be in his 20s, arguing with a woman in what JSO called a “suspicious incident,” prompting the JSO to seek the public’s help.

Around 7 p.m., JSO said the man and woman were located safely, but did not provide any further details.

JSO said the woman walked away from the man. The video showed him pick her up and carry her to a white vehicle in broad daylight. The woman could also be heard screaming.
