JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – All lanes of Pritchard Road were blocked at Directors Road for several hours after a semi flipped Wednesday afternoon, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said.

A semi was traveling west on Pritchard Road about 12:30 p.m. when the driver exited the roadway and attempted to correct the truck, causing it to flip on its side, police said.

When it fell on its side, police said, the semi also struck a fire hydrant and broke a water main, allowing water to flow under the roadway.

A viewer told News4Jax that the semi was carrying about 44,000 pounds of coffee, which had to be offloaded in order to flip the semi back up.

No injuries were reported. JEA was called to work on the broken water main.

Police expected the road to reopen about 7 p.m.
