JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – One man was killed and another man was injured in a shooting Thursday night in the Wesconnett area on the city's Westside, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said.
Police responded just before 9:30 p.m. to a shooting on North Lamar Drive, just south of Timuquana Road.

When officers arrived, they found James McClatchy, 21, and another young man had been shot, said Sheriff's Office Sgt. John.
McClatchy was pronounced dead at the scene, and the other man was taken to a hospital.
The extent of that man's injuries is unknown at this time, John said.
The Sheriff's Office continues to investigate.
