JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A JetBlue flight made an emergency landing at Jacksonville International Airport on Thursday due to mechanical issues, the Jacksonville Airport Authority said. 

The JetBlue Embraser ERJ-190 plane took off from Fort Lauderdale just after 3:30 p.m. but was diverted to JAX at about 4:45 p.m., authorities said.

According to JAA, flight 2020 was heading to Worcester, Massachusetts when it turned around off the coast of South Carolina. 

There were 105 people on board the flight.
