In August 2014, the victim was working out in the gym area of an Atlantic Beach resort when Gloston approached her while wearing a towel over his face. He told the victim to get off of the gym equipment, and when she didn’t, Gloston pulled her off and threatened to kill her if she screamed, according to court documents.
When the victim began to fight back, Gloston struck her in the face and smashed her head on one of the exercise machines. The victim then continued to fight back and Gloston dragged her down the hall toward the pool area.
When Gloston attempted to sexually assault the victim, a security guard entered the hallway and Gloston ran away.
