JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Mandarin High School was on Code Red lockdown Monday morning because of what school officials called non-specific threat. School Board police were at the school in force and the was entrance is blocked off.
Parents are hearing from their children that they have been locked in classroom since just after 11 a.m.

Just before noon, a Duval County School District spokeswoman said the lockdown was lifted after law enforcement determined that a bomb threat to the school was determined false.
"School officials will continue to cooperate with law enforcement to identify those who made this false bomb threat to ensure they face criminal charges and student discipline, including expulsion," spokeswoman Laureen Ricks said in a statement.
