JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – No one was injured when a fire started in the entrance of a Pizza Hut restaurant on Merrill Road Tuesday night, the Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department said.
The fire was reported about 8:15 p.m. and shut down Merrill Road, between Red Oak Drive and Cesery Boulevard, for nearly an hour.

The State Fire Marshal's Office was called to investigate.
There is no word yet on the extent of damage to the building.
