Victory Casino Cruises will be launching its new floating casino out of Mayport which will add both entertainment and economical value to the community.

, Victory II, has slots, 17 card tables and a dance floor.

"We have a dining experience, an outdoor deck where you can enjoy the sun during the day and the stars at night, the gaming experience and the food experience," said CEO of Victory Casino Cruises, Lester Bullock.

Bullock said not only does this casino bring something unique to Jacksonville, it will also boost business in the city.

"We bring buses from South Georgia. We're looking as far away as Valdosta, Savannah. We partner up with busing companies and with hotels. We bring people in for weekend trips," said Bullock.

Attracting new business is one of the things Vicki Orren, who owns a limousine service in Fleming Island, said she had in mind.

"It's just a good inlet for us to be able to provide service to people who come out, go out three hours, fours hours, not having to worry about anything to drink," said Orren.

Capacity aboard the ship is 600 people. About 100 of them are employees.
