JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A white man in his 40s was found dead inside a tent in a wooded area on the Southside, deputies said Sunday.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said friends of the deceased man alerted police Sunday around 1:30 p.m. that he had been missing for three days and filed a missing person's report. Deputies said the friends directed police to where the man could be.

At 3:30 p.m., deputies found the man's body inside a tent in a wooded area off San Pablo Parkway, about 1 mile south of Beach Boulevard.
Deputies said they do not suspect foul play. The cause of death is undetermined.
The man was reportedly known to camp out in the woods off of San Pablo. His identity has not been released.
Deputies are still investigating.
