Suspicious car fire in Murray Hill

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The State Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of a fire to a car at an auto sales business in Murray Hill on Friday morning.

According to the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department, just after 6 a.m. firefighters were dispatched to Kick Lighter Auto Sales on Cassat Avenue after an Infinity Coupe went up in flames.

Firefighters put out the fire, and there was no evidence that the fire was accidental, so the State Fire Marshal was called to investigate.

Firefighters said the damages are $11,999 worth. The Infinity Coupe had major damage to the rear end of the vehicle. No other vehicles had major damage.

Kick Lighter Auto Sales will be closed Friday, according to an employee.
