JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – All of Pickettville Road near Commonwealth Avenue was closed early Thursday morning due to an accident with injuries, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
The crash between an SUV and a van happened just south of Commonwealth. Police say the accident sent an elderly couple to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A young driver in the other vehicle was not hurt in the accident.
Police did no release the name of those hurt or how the accident occurred.
