A spokesperson with Duval County Public Schools said the bus was assigned to Jefferson Davis Middle School and no injuries were reported.

The bus driver, 40-year-old Julieta Santana, is being charged with careless driving.

This bus crash comes about two hours after a bus was rear-ended on its way to Robert E. Lee High School. That crash also happened on the Westside and is being investigated as a hit-and-run after a Jeep Wrangler hit the bus and fled the scene.

No injuries were reported in that crash.
