JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police are working to find out exactly what happened to a woman whose body was found Tuesday morning on the side of the road near Philips Highway.
The woman was identified Wednesday as 26-year-old Jennifer Michell Taylor.

Police said a passerby reported around 8 a.m. that a woman's body was found near the corner of an abandoned home on Martin Street. Units arrived to find Taylor's body.
Police said she is known in the area.
Detectives are working to determine if foul play was involved. Police said Taylor didn't appear to have any injuries, and the medical examiner will determine her cause of death.
They are searching for potential surveillance in the area.
"We will go through the area to see if there's any surveillance. We have a little bit of information regarding this female. She is known to this area," Sgt. Chuck Ford said. "We’ll be searching, talking to the business owners to find out what her actions were this last several hours."
