It’s nearly fall and the pumpkin patches, hayrides, haunted houses, and more spooktacular events are back!

We are less than 10 days away from Halloween, but if you're adventurous and love a good ghost story, there are haunted places nearby that you can visit 365 days a year.

EPIC Outreach invites the community to the 5th Annual Farm Fun Fall-O-Ween on October 26th, from 11 AM to 1 PM. Tickets are $49 per car (up to six people) and include a swag bag filled with items from local sponsors, with DOC TONY as the main sponsor.

The two-day show NAS Jacksonville Air Show is this Saturday and Sunday and is free and open to everyone.

One Clay County home has built an entire haunted house for those brave enough to enter. Daniel’s Dungeon of Haunted Horrors is located off Blanding Boulevard and is said to be one of the best local scares in our area!

St. John's Cathedral, in collaboration with The London Sanctuary, St. Augustine Humane, Fur Sisters, and Posh Pet Services, invites the public to a heartwarming event featuring pet blessings, adoptions, and pet photos. Pets will receive individual blessings during a special Holy Eucharist in Cathedral Park, followed by opportunities to meet adoptable dogs from local rescue organizations.

The two-day event will also feature a Celtic festival showcasing Celtic music, food, and vendors.

The 2024 Cowford Ball, hosted by the American Cancer Society, is set to be a rootin’-tootin’ good time, combining fun with philanthropy. This unique event, taking place at the picturesque Deerwood Castle, invites the community to enjoy an evening filled with great food, drinks, live entertainment, and an exciting auction. It’s a chance to give back while having a blast.

This year, the 904 will go all out to celebrate the Hispanic community with concerts, family activities, educational opportunities, and of course — plenty of delicious food!

The 75-minute reel of cat videos is family-friendly and can be enjoyed by anyone. It will be shown at Regal Avenues on Saturday, Sept. 7 at noon and Sunday, Sept. 8 at 1 p.m. Tickets are approximately $10 each.

Hip-hop skeletons and friendly ghost guides will be ready to welcome families from Northeast Florida and beyond to the Jacksonville Zoo in October.

Yelp Jacksonville is launching "Hot & New in Jax," a four-week series of events and experiences that spotlight top, hot and new, local businesses across Northeast Florida. Running from September 1st to September 30th, 2024, this event series allows Yelpers to enjoy complimentary food and beverage tastings, live entertainment, and special experiences at various locations.
