JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – More than 100 organizations are coming out to show their pride and support during Saturday's Pride Parade.
This will be the largest show of support that The Bank of America Pride Parade taking has ever seen in our area. The CW-17 (WCWJ) is the Media Sponsor for the 2019 River City Pride Parade and News4Jax reporter Zachery Lashway will be the Grand Marshal of the parade.

People from all over are expected to attend the parade at 4:00 p.m. The parade and festival are focused around inclusion and love. River City Pride will also feature outdoor activities such as a block party, festival, music, food, drinks and more.
The event is rain or shine. Safety is a concern for River City Pride and all who participate in any of the events throughout the weekend. The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office will be present during all activities. If you see something, say something.
River City Pride Weekend Events — October 5th and 6th
- Saturday: CAN Community Health Block Party in 5 Points from noon until 10:00 p.m. will showcase 5 Point businesses along with local entertainers and DJs. The Bank of America Pride Parade with more than 100 organizations will step off at 4:00 p.m. from Willowbranch Park and zigzag through Riverside ending in the Five Points at the Block Party.
- Sunday: The Winn-Dixie Pride Festival is at the Riverside Arts Market from 11:00 a.m. till 8: 00 p.m. More than 125 local vendors and food trucks along with a kid zone and dog contest. We have an amazing entertainment lineup this year, with local and nationally recognized artists and performers.
