JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Hundreds of people are expected to gather in downtown Jacksonville Saturday morning to raise awareness about domestic violence at the 15th annual Hubbard House “Stand up and Stride Domestic Violence Awareness Walk.”
According to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, one in four women and one in nine men experience severe intimate partner physical violence.
The walk will take place on Saturday, March 30 at 8 a.m. (begins at 9 a.m.) at 330 E. Bay Street.
Together, we’ll raise awareness of domestic violence and raise funds to ensure help is available when survivors and their children need help the very most.
