JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. – Beach Bowl is gearing up to let community members hit the new and improved lanes of the renovated venue on June 17.
The iconic bowling alley on Beach Boulevard opened in the 1950s and suddenly closed in 2019 after the previous landlord couldn’t settle a deal with business owners over the rising rent costs.
Starting in 2021, the Jacksonville Beach staple underwent a multi-million dollar expansion that includes 24 bowling lanes on the main floor with four second-floor lanes for those who want a more exclusive experience.
It also features more entertainment additions, like an arcade with over 40 interactive games, multiple bars for adult beverages, and an upgraded scratch kitchen with a lunch, dinner and kid’s menu.
“We are so excited to be able to keep the history of Beach Bowl alive. We know how important it is to the community and can’t wait for it to be open,” a Beach Bowl spokesperson said.
The bowling alley is also hiring for the following positions:
- Arcade Game Techs
- Hosts
- Bussers
- Food Runners
- Expo
- Birthday Party hosts
- Lane Techs
