JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The North Florida and South Georgia Veterans Health System will host a resource and suicide prevention fair on Thursday, Sept. 19.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena. The event is free and includes a catered lunch for attendees.
The fair will include the following resources for veterans:
- Women Veterans Program
- Veterans Benefits Enrollment and Claims Assistance
- Mental Health/Suicide Prevention
- Homeless Veteran Program
- Intimate Partner Violence Assistance Program (IPVAP)
- Veteran Whole Health
- Social Worker and Care Management
- Toxic Exposure Screening
- Lung Cancer Screening
- VA Education Information
- Health and Nutrition Information
Veteran Kevin Briggs, a renowned speaker and author, and Kevin Berthia, a suicide survivor and advocate, will be guest speakers.
