Duval County

Spooktacular at Jacksonville Zoo: Hip-hop skeletons and friendly ghost guides will be ready to welcome families from Northeast Florida and beyond to the Jacksonville Zoo in October.

The Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens' 37th annual Spooktacular event is a family-friendly fall event that will be held from Oct. 17-20 and 24-31. During the event, families can experience an array of treats, tricks, and spine-tingling surprises throughout the zoo, according to a release. Click here for tickets, dates and more information.

Ortega Church Pumpkin Patch: Address: 4807 Roosevelt Blvd, Jacksonville FL 32210 | This pumpkin patch is open Oct. 1 until Oct. 31, Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., as well as the weekends, open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Stop by for family pictures and fun! Proceeds support the Ortega Church Youth Ministry.

Haunt Nights returns to Adventure Landing: Be sure to check out the largest 3D haunt in Jacksonville! Haunt Nights makes its highly anticipated return to Adventure Landing this Halloween – with the lowest ticket prices in years. Open select nights running through Nov. 2. Jacksonville’s Official Halloween Bar Crawl: The Official Halloween bar crawl (21+) features costumes, drink specials, trick-or-treating fun and more. When: Oct. 26 from 4 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. Tickets begin at $10. Click here for more information.

Isle of Faith United Methodist Church: Address: 1821 San Pablo Road S, Jacksonville, FL | The patch is open every day to the general public from Oct. 8 through Oct. 31. This is a free event and open to the public. There will be fun family events every Saturday from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Click here for more information.

Rocky Horror Picture Show 2024: “It’s a Halloween ritual at the Florida Theatre, and if you have never seen The Rocky Horror Picture Show in person, you really have to make this a bucket list item. Come as you are, or come in costume. The evening begins at 8 p.m. with an hour of live party music from the Carole Mayedo Band, and then host Karrissa Wade takes the stage to welcome the audience before we screen the movie, and finish after the movie with a theatre-wide “Time Warp” dance-a-thon.   • Fright Night: A spine-tingling evening of thrills and chills for all ages! Join the fun on Friday, Oct. 25, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., for a night of terror soaring high. It’s perfect for older kids and adults looking for a fright-filled adventure.
  • Monster Mash: A family-friendly event with safe trick-or-treating, access to park attractions, coloring stations, and photo ops with characters. Happening on Sunday, Oct. 27, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., it’s an event where younger kids can safely soar through Halloween fun.

Green Cove Springs Police Department (GCSPD) Annual Trunk or Treat 2024: Oct. 25 at 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. | “The annual Trunk or Treat 2024 will be located at 1001 Idlewild Avenue, GCS. There are decorated trunks, food trucks, games, inflatable bounce houses and slides, a dunk tank, dance and costume contests, a canned food drive, and so much more! Town of Orange Park 42nd Annual Fall Festival at Orange Park Town Hall Park: October 19 - October 20 | The Town of Orange Park Fall Festival is Clay County’s oldest and largest Arts and Crafts Festival! The Fall Festival began in 1982 with roughly twelve craft booths and a couple guitar players.
