Sulzbacher extends cold night shelter through Thursday night

Continued frost and freeze advisories in Duval County are putting those experiencing homelessness at risk, particularly overnight.

Sulzbacher has announced that its Cold Night Shelter will be open for those in need from Tuesday night through Friday morning.

In addition to housing its 500+ people at both the Downtown Campus and Sulzbacher Village, temporary sleeping areas in dining rooms and library areas will remain open for people in need of shelter.

The Community can seek shelter from the cold at the following Sulzbacher locations:

  • Women and Families - Sulzbacher Village at 5455 Springfield Blvd.
  • Men - Sulzbacher’s Downtown Campus at 611 East Adams St.
