IHOP has unveiled a new logo.  Consumerist reports, the International House of Pancakes got rid of the word "restaurant" in the old logo and replaced it with a red swoop to resemble a smile.

The company compared the "restaurant" part of the old logo to a frown face; which Kirk Thompson, the vice president of marketing, referred to as "negative".
