Easy to make natural cleaners

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – You don't always have to make a trip to the store in order get things cleaned. As it turns out, a lot of supplies can be made right in your own home.

Detergent, soap, drano, all things you'd normally make a trip to the store for, but you can actually make all these things yourself.

For dishwasher detergent, mix 1 cup of borax, 1 cup of baking soda, ½ cup of kosher salt, and ¼ cup of unsweetened lemonade-flavored Kool-Aid and shake.

For that foamy soap, keep the dispenser and reload it with 1 tablespoon of dishwashing liquid and top it off with water.

Got a clogged drain? Just pour 1 cup of baking soda, 1 cup of salt, and ½ cup of vinegar into the drain and let it sit for 5 minutes.

These are tips to save you money and keep your clean.

For a quick natural stain remover add 1 part hydrogen peroxide, 1 part baking soda, and 2 parts water to a spray bottle.
