JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Jacksonville is again off to a violent start to the year. There have already been 15 homicides reported in Duval County. All but two of the victims were either men or teenage boys. In 2016, January was the second bloodiest month, with the same number -- 15 homicides.
Below, we have listed the victims' names, ages, and the information surrounding their deaths. We have also included a photo of each victim, where available.

Sunday, Jan. 1
Kareem Hagan, 22
Hagan, the first homicide victim of 2017 in Jacksonville, died at the scene of a double shooting at East 18th and Main streets in the Springfield area. Police had no suspect description of the shooter(s).
Monday, Jan. 2
Marquis Luis Marquez, 17
Marquez, the second victim of a New Year's Day double shooting at East 18th and Main streets in the Springfield area, died at the hospital. Police had no suspect description of the shooter(s).
Thursday, Jan. 5
Quinton Gray, 22
Gray was shot Dec. 30 while driving a car in Arlington and crashed the car into a tree at an apartment complex. Gray died Jan. 5. His passenger, Cedric Moss, suffered minor injuries in the crash. Charles Smith III, 21, has been charged with murder and attempted murder. The shooting was sparked by a stare-down at a convenience store, police said.
Saturday, Jan. 7
Keeble Grant, 61
Police said Grant was confronted on Jacksonville's Northside by Lance Lee Norman, 33, just after midnight at the River Oaks Apartments on Harts Road, and Norman shot and killed Grant. Norman was found later that day by police but shot himself in the head before he was arrested and later died.

Jahleel George, 21
George was found shot to death inside his home on Woodcrest Road on Jacksonville's Westside. Police did not release any suspect information.

Jason Bryan Horton, 25
Horton was found shot in the torso on the porch of a house on Dandy Avenue in Arlington. He died at the hospital. Clifford Williams, 37, who was also shot, was arrested after turning up at Orange Park Medical Center. Police said Williams killed Horton as they struggled for a gun in a random home invasion robbery. He has been charged with murder.

Chauncey McNair, 31
McNair was found shot on Lynton Street off Norwood Avenue in the Tallulah neighborhood. He died at the hospital. Doctors told McNair's family he was shot 15 times. Police did not release any suspect information.

Khamoi Petersen, 16
Petersen was one of two teens shot in front of The Jacksonville Landing after police said a fight in front of the complex escalated to gunfire. Petersen was shot in the face and died at the hospital. Police said that the shooting was possibly related to a double shooting at Art Walk earlier in January. Sources later told News4Jax that video of the shooting showed Petersen drawing a weapon first. Tyrik Charles Solomon, 18, was charged with carrying a concealed weapon in connection with the shooting, but he has not been charged in Petersen's death.

Miguel Angel Martinez-Sanchez, 26
Martinez-Sanchez was found shot to death at Division Street and West 2nd Avenue in the Robinson's Addition neighborhood of Jacksonville's Westside. Police responded to shots fired about 3:30 a.m. and found Martinez-Sanchez dead. Police did not release any suspect information.

Isaiah Keller, 15 months
Isaiah died from asphyxiation after being tied up and gagged to get him to stop crying, police said. He was living at the Diamond Inn on Ramona Boulevard near Lane Avenue and I-10 with his mother, Lori Hopper, and her boyfriend, Andre Keller, who was not Isaiah's biological father. Hopper was charged with aggravated manslaughter and Keller was charged with murder and aggravated child abuse in the boy's death.

Janardo Taylor, 26
Taylor was found with a gunshot wound to the front of his head at 16th Street and Myrtle Avenue, police said. He died at the hospital. They are investigating the death as a murder, but no arrest has been made.
Monday, Jan. 23
Jacob Kellner, 23
Kellner's body was found by a jogger in the back lot of a cemetery on Memorial Park Road in the Normandy Village area. His cause of death was not released, but police said they suspect foul play. Detectives said it was unclear how long Kellner's body had been there.
Thursday, Jan. 26
Victortadao Maurice Hobbs Jr., 18
Hobbs was killed in a double shooting in Southside Estates on Agave Road in the Arlington area, just days after his 18th birthday. The second victim had non-life-threatening injuries and was cooperating with police. The only information police had on a suspect was that several neighbor said they saw a black car drive away from the scene.
Thursday, Jan. 26
Janice Fulton, 74
Fulton's body was found about 10 p.m. in Henry County, Georgia, south of Atlanta. Phillip Jason Smith, the 37-year-old man Fulton was believed to be with when she was reported missing, stopped for gas in the Kia Optima that police were looking for, and a Locust Grove police officer spotted the car. The officer found Fulton's body and took Smith into custody. He was charged with murder in Fulton's death. Police said they believe Fulton was killed in Jacksonville before Smith headed north.

Oscar Phillips, 59
Phillips was found dead in a dumpster after firefighters doused a fire inside the dumpster on Clark Street on Jacksonville's Eastside. The medical examiner later ruled his death a homicide. It took several months to identify his remains.
