Going Ringside Ep. 76: Victoria Crawford aka Alicia Fox also Kevin Nash responds to Scott Johnson

The former WWE star discusses her new venture to help indie wrestlers & Nash says he’s not interested in speaking at DNC

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – On this episode, I’m joined by Nease High School graduate and former WWE Superstar Victoria Crawford, who spent almost two decades in WWE and won the world title under the name Alicia Fox.

Now, Crawford, the only Black Divas champion for WWE, is out of WWE and on her own traveling the independent wrestling circuit.

She’s using her success in a new business venture for independent wrestlers called MastersOfTheRingAccelerator.com. It’s a free virtual event on Sept. 9-10 to teach new wrestlers skills like building a personal brand and developing a social media strategy.

“A companionship program,” said Crawford. “Aimed to build a community where they can have in-house resources.”

Crawford said resources like these are critical for new pro wrestlers who have no idea how to navigate the independent scene and possibly get called up to major promotions like AEW or WWE.

Kevin Nash responds

Also on this episode, we delve into the response from WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash to Going Ringside after I posted the video below on the Going Ringside Instagram and TikTok channels.

I was speculating whether Nash was interested in speaking at the Democratic National Convention like Hulk Hogan did at the Republican National Convention.

Nash responded on his podcast Kliq THIS: Episode 108, saying he’s not interested in making a political speech at the DNC and that his endorsing post about Vice President Kamala Harris was just coincidental timing.

“My timing wasn’t associated with Hulk tearing his shirt as much as it was the Sunday announcement of Joe Biden saying he was pulling out (of the race),” Nash said.

Hear more of Nash’s response and watch my interview with Crawford in the episode at the top of this article.
