ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The Venardos Circus, a Broadway-style animal-free circus, is returning to St. Augustine to celebrate its 10th anniversary.
The show will run from Dec. 19, 2024, to Jan. 5, 2025, at The St. Augustine Amphitheatre.
Hand balancer Angel Ramos said guests will be in for a treat.
“There’s a little bit for everyone. There’s comedians, jugglers, aerialists, hand balancers,” Ramos said. “There’s a group trampoline act that I’m in that’s fantastic.”
Bottle walker LadyBeast says this show is like no other.
“The best part of the show is the intimate experience of coming to this show. There’s not a bad seat in the house,” she said. “You get to actually connect with the artist on stage.”
Featuring a reimagined showcase, it promises an exhilarating mix of music from past tours and fresh new acts under its signature Italian-made red-and-white striped tent.
“This is a special season for us as we celebrate the many dreams realized by The Little Circus That Could,” said Ringmaster and Producer Kevin Venardos. “For those that have supported us from the beginning or others who will see us for the first time, our goal is always to show you what’s possible when you live your dreams, and we promise you A Grand Ol’ Time.”
Ramos said the show is something he hopes brings local families under the tent for years to come.
“At the beginning, it was absolutely nothing. This huge tent, we just got a new tent. None of this, it was nonexistent,” Ramos said. “All of this was the dream of Kevin Venardos. To be celebrating 10 years is a huge deal for this organization.”
Guests can expect a magical journey that honors centuries-old circus traditions while bringing them to life for a modern audience. The tent’s new design enhances seating and offers better views for its high-flying aerial acts.
