JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The University of North Florida LGBTQ Center is celebrating its 15th anniversary with a Winter Ball.
The fundraising event will be held on Friday, Dec. 10, at the Garden Club of Jacksonville. The event will raise funds for the LGBTQ Center, to support educational programs, student support, scholarships, and leadership development that spread awareness and knowledge about LGBTQ issues, people, and experiences.

The event provide dinner, drinks and entertainment. The dress code is black-tie optional.
Entertainment will be provided by Miss South Florida Comedy Queen Karissa T. Wade, premier event band Bold City Classics, and vocalist Jay Myztroh.
UNF established the LGBTQ Center in 2006 to provide a much-needed safe space for LGBTQ students.
