JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Looking good, Friendship Fountain!

The enormous fountain located in downtown Jacksonville turned on its jets to show off its new features Thursday night.

The flashy new look might remind you of the Bellagio fountain in Las Vegas with its size, vibrant colors, and different streams of water that shoot up into the air and synchronize with lights and music. Watch the video below to see the fountain in action!

Mayor Lenny Curry said the updated Friendship Fountain will undergo final testing this weekend for an upcoming grand reveal.

The city of Jacksonville said the fountain along the Southbank was supposed to be finished by April -- but now it might be the end of the summer before it’s back in its full glory.

The city has budgeted nearly $6 million to restore the fountain to its original splendor.

The Fountain was first built 57 years ago in 1965 -- and became an instant tourist attraction.
