JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – JASMYN, Northeast Florida’s only LGBTQIA+ youth center, hosted its annual Coming Out Day Breakfast on Tuesday, Oct. 18.
The event was held at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront. Jacksonville native Javontae Williams, a nurse and nationally recognized public health advocate, was the event’s Keynote Speaker.
The theme of the breakfast was “Stand with LGBTQIA+ Young People.”
The Diamond Award was presented to VyStar Credit Union CEO Brian Wolfburg. The award is given to “persons who have significantly contributed to the safety, health and well-being of LGBTQ young people in Jacksonville,” according to the website.
