JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A musical event celebrating Riverside and Avondale’s rich musical history is coming to Jacksonville in October.
The Music Tour will be held on Saturday, Oct. 12 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at multiple locations. The main stage will be located at Willowbranch Park. The fall event will feature performances across eight unique stages, each narrating a different story of musical moments and people that have shaped our community including memorabilia, according to a release.

The event includes:
- Mini concerts throughout the tour w/ local bands
- Pop-up exhibits and memorabilia
- Headliner performance from The Curt Towne Band
- Silent Disco with Hush Hush Headphones
The Music Tour will share our community’s music history at multiple distinct locations throughout Riverside including homes, yards, parks, and businesses, the Riverside Avondale Preservation said on its website. Unlike a typical music festival with centralized stages, the Music Tour will offer a program and walkable route to unassuming stages and locations throughout the district.
