‘Thanks 4 Thirty Years’ podcast drops Monday

On Monday, News4JAX will release a new one-part podcast that will be both a blast from the past and a glimpse into the future.

Lead anchor Mary Baer and Chief Meteorologist John Gaughan will retire together at the end of May following a thirty-year run at WJXT-Channel 4. Both arrived at The Local Station just weeks apart in 1992.

The pair sat down with lead anchor Tom Wills to talk about their memories during the past three decades, share some stories that most of you have never heard and talk about what’s next for them after retirement. The podcast features more than an hour of conversation between three of the most recognizable names in Jacksonville media. It will be released on News4JAX.com and News4JAX+.
