A drop in temperatures will provide perfect weather for attending outdoor events around Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia. We will see temperatures in the mid-50s this weekend, which means it’s time to break out those light sweaters and jackets.

- St. Marys Seafood Festival 🆓🎶 On Nov. 16, The St. Marys Seafood Festival will bring a day of family fun to the Georgia coast. The festival includes a 5K and 10K Run, a 10 a.m. parade, a Kids Fun Zone, arts & crafts vendors, and an afternoon of free concerts. Performers include the Saltwater Gypseas at 12:30 p.m., the Camden Community Band at 2:30 p.m., and King Cheese & The Other Mothers at 4:00 p.m. More info
- Duval Music Jam 💰 “We will have “Turkey Sundays, think of a Sundae but with Thanksgiving all in one cup. BBQ specials all day, rib specials all day, happy hour 12-4 p.m., beer specials all day, full bar, 50+ whiskeys, and more. - Law Enforcement K9 Competition💰🐶 This event will showcase the remarkable skills of police dogs. K9 teams throughout the state will compete in a timed obstacle course meant to mimic situations the officers and dogs may encounter while doing police work. All money will benefit K9s United and help fulfill their mission of supporting law enforcement K9 units here in NE Florida. More info

- Best Rucker Weekend 🏃 On Nov. 15 and 16, GORUCK is hosting a 50-mile race through Jacksonville. Participants will have 45lbs on their backs, and they have to complete it in 20 hours. There will be prizes, games and more. GORUCK and +More Perfect Union (+MPU) aim to bring people of differing political backgrounds together. More info

- Jacksonville City-Wide Crusade 🆓 The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, Nov. 16, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at APR Heritage Park in Jacksonville, with an expected attendance of over 1,500 people. This is a free event, open to all members of our community. The Crusade aims to bring the community together for a day of faith, wellness, and family activities. More info
- 33rd Annual Holiday Shoppes 💰 The First Coast Cultural Center’s 33rd Annual Holiday Shoppes will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16, and Sunday, Nov. 17, at 6000B Sawgrass Village Circle, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32082. Free family fun: Save big during ‘Kids Free November’ in 2024 🆓
For the tenth year in a row, Visit Jacksonville has partnered with the city’s top family attractions for Kids Free November, a special month-long promotion that offers free admission and other discounted activities for children at local museums and attractions. During Kids Free November, more than a dozen listed participants will offer free or discounted admission for up to five children under the age of 12 with general adult admission at participating locations.
