This year, The Bearded Pig is your pick for Jacksonville’s best barbecue -- and we can agree for good reason.
The constituency is top notch! You’ll always leave with a full stomach, and perhaps a to-go box because you’ll surely want to take any leftovers.
“We take pride in the cooking traditions of the South and do our best to make the best BBQ, period,” Bearded Pig writes.
There’s two locations: One in San Marco and the other at Jax Beach. Head to its website for a look at the menu and some more photos of its mouthwatering Texas-style barbecue.
And -- about the burnt ends. Cole says everyone knows they’re the best at Bearded Pig, so you’ll need to get there before dinnertime to ensure you’ll get some.
