JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – From clothes to mattresses, a wide variety of items are on sale in September as many retailers are already discounting items for Labor Day weekend.
Here’s a rundown of where you can find the savings.
When it comes to mattresses, last year’s Labor Day saw 30% off Ameri-sleep and Nectar. Tempur-Pedic took off as much as $700 off on some of its adjustable mattress sets.
Also, watch for sales on large appliances, including grills.
Lowe’s and Home Depot are good places to check — as is Best Buy.
Last year, Lowe’s had a three-burner model selling for just $99.
And summer clothing will be discounted as we get closer to fall.
Deal News says to look for women’s apparel to be discounted by at least 50%.
And check the Children’s Place for savings on kids’ clothing.
If you’re still back-to-school shopping, you should be able to find deals from Amazon, Staples and other retailers.
