The in-demand jobs that saw double-digit pay bumps last year

Considering a career change?

Some of the most in-demand jobs saw double-digit wage increases last year.

Salary comparison site Payscale.com surveyed users and found customer service assistant managers saw the biggest pay bump, increasing 24% from 2022.

Hairdressers, master plumbers, auto body repair and job coaches also saw 20% pay bumps.

The survey also revealed the jobs people are most eager to leave, including:

  • Senior product manager
  • Phlebotomist
  • Line cook
  • Patient care technician
  • Registered nurse

Collectively, this suggests it is still an employee market this year, but the job search experience varies by job choice.
