An 8-year-old girl and her mother were approached by Sales in the parking lot of the Town Center mall after having dinner at P.F. Chang's. Sales was armed with a BB gun and the victims, who thought the gun was real, complied with her demands to drive her to an ATM and withdraw $400 in cash.
Just four days later, on the girl's 9th birthday, the mother and daughter spotted Sales at the Town Center, followed her and called police, who later arrested Sales.
