Police: NJ man steals Oxycontin from CVS

BRUNSWICK, Ga. – A New Jersey Man was arrested in Brunswick, Ga., on Thursday afternoon when police said he robbed a CVS pharmacy of Oxycontin.

Brunswick police said Jonathan Philip Fulford, 24, of Cape May, N.J., went into the CVS Pharmacy at 1709 Gloucester St. wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and a mask. Police said Fulford went behind the pharmacy counter and told employees he had a gun and demanded the prescription painkiller Oxycontin.

A pharmacy worker put nine bottles of the drug into a wool cap, police said. They said when Fulford fled, two off-duty officers took him into custody after a brief struggle and took him to the Glynn County Detention Center.
