JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A nine-month, one week special project by Channel 4's Melanie Lawson and her husband, Channel 4's Tarik Minor, debuted at 4:26 p.m. Saturday: Noah Graceson Minor.
Melanie, who had been in labor since late Thursday, called the baby "7 pounds 8 ounces of pure sweetness!"

"Each time the doctors come in they say he is perfect and healthy and he's just beautiful," Melanie said. "It's just the beginning of a new life for both of us."
Tarik, who posted Saturday night on Facebook, "I am truly in awe in so many ways," realizes the blessed event is playing out on a big stage.
"We feel really fortunate that a lot of people in the community have reached out to us -- online, WJXT, website, Facebook -- and its been really cool to feel the love of the community," he said.
The baby's name was the source of much speculation -- both around the newsroom and on The Morning Show. But it was the one thing they kept private until the baby arrived.
"Graceson is a family name on my side and Grace is my middle name and my mother's mother's name and my father's mother's name, so we have a lot of grace," Melanie explained. "And since it's a boy, we did Graceson. And Noah just because we liked that name and it's from the Bible and Tarik wanted a name from the Bible and we agreed."
