JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Homicide investigators are investigating a fight Saturday afternoon outside EverBank Field that ended with one man hospitalized and the arrest of another man.
Police have not released the names of those involved or other details of the incident, but said the fight occurred among football fans near the intersection of Adams and Bay streets during the first half of the Georgia-Florida game.

While the initial report was the man suffered life-threatening injuries, police announced about 90 minutes later than the victim was in stable condition.
Police said no weapons were involved in the fight, but it was too early to know what the fight was about of if alcohol was involved.
"There's a lot of people partying, however homicide just got on the scene ... so they're going to sort through all those details," Officer Melissa Bujeda said.
Detectives interviewed dozens of people who saw the fight, but most Channel 4 talked to weren't closed enough to know what the fight was about.
"They wouldn't let us get anywhere near it, but from what I've heard someone got drug in the water and tried drowning him," one football fan said.
Channel 4 safety analyst said people need to be extra cautious around crowds where people have been drinking.
"You've got to possibly beef up security, particularly in those hot spots where you know there are a lot of people who have been drinking and there to have a good time," Jefferson said. "That's where there's tension and a fight starts."
