JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Two men and two women were shot and killed late Thursday night in a Murray Hill home and Jacksonville police say, "A killer is on the loose."
At 10:50 p.m., the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded to a 911 call by neighbors who heard multiple gunshots on Randolph Street -- a dead-end road off Cassat Avenue.
When police arrived, they found four people shot. Three died at the scene and the fourth was taken to UF Health Jacksonville, where she later died.
Later in the day, police identified the victims as Keshell Brown, 21, Keyonna Brown, 22 (both pictured below), Gontrell Hagans (pictured below), 27, and Derek Williams, 25.
Family members said the two women were sisters, born a year apart on the same day. Friends and family members said the two men were fathers.
"This is senseless. This is real senseless," said Karla Davis, Hagans' godmother. "He was a beautiful young man. He was a father of four. And he had nothing but joy in his life."
Three crime scene teams were processing the scene and detectives were canvassing the neighborhood looking for information.
"We want any witnesses, anyone who may have heard someone talk about something, like they were going to do something, please contact police," said JSO spokeswoman Melissa Bujeda.

"Whoever it is, I wish they would turn their self in, because Keyonna and Keshell didn't deserve what they got," said Patricia Brown, the victims' grandmother. "I've cried so much. I'm hurting, hurting, hurting. I just don't know what to do. I've got two granddaughters I have to bury, something I never thought would happen. All of sudden, instead of them burying me, I'm burying them."
The home was recently renovated, and neighbors said one of the men had been renting it for about three months. They never expected anything like this to happen.
"I feel sorry for the baby mamas, the mamas, the daddies, children, the momma's that lost their children," neighbor Katrina Shelly said.
Police have not released a motive for the shooting. Neighbors say this area is known for drug activity and shootings.
"I don't feel safe. This is almost a rape of the community," one resident said. "None of us feel safe anymore."
There is surveillance video taken by a neighboring business that shows a car leaving in the area during the time the police believe the shooting happened. The person who recorded it said the car sped out quickly, ran a stop sign and then turned right. The video was dark and grainy.
According to police records, Hagans had been arrested six times for drug offenses, three times for resisting police, as well as for aggravated domestic battery and prowling.
